Blinds and curtains are often used in conjunction with one another to provide adequate window coverage. Blinds block out the sun, while curtains can be pulled back for natural light (and air) when desired. Curtains also offer privacy by blocking most views through a window from outside, which is an advantage over blinds. It is possible to use both blinds and curtains together to get the benefits of each type of window covering.
